![]() I found that the only Ice element weapons that I would really like to have were the Daora's. My story is that I realized I am lacking in Ice element weapons for my arsenal save for Zamzam(My nickname for Zamtrios) weapons and I was browsing kiranico to research. I had no issue amassing hundreds of those stupid Earth Crystals, but now on this game, they are required for the rusted and worn weapons in vast quantities and I sure don't like wasting time with grinding for a material that has very limited use. I started out on MH3U(Got my HR limiter removed in G-Rank after mainly soloing every single quest but I stopped playing due to hating how everything needed a gem or mantle with really low drop rates and just general agitation with the grinding.) and I loved the weapons and pretty much everything. So, I am sure you all feel my pain on this, but I simply can't tolerate how scarce Earth Crystals are on this game. Moreover, getting weapons the normal way is trivialized and it makes it so I might as well only run GQs of the 5 monsters that are worth it. It gets to the point where even succeeding in killing the monsters doesn't rectify the frustration of fighting them. ![]() You may say "they are designed to be ridiculously hard!" Does that mean I want to force myself to be miserable fighting something that is designed to be ridiculously hard? No, I want to have fun. Maybe, but the fact that 90% of people I play with cart when fighting them only reinforces the fact that they are too difficult. You might say "maybe if you didn't suck so much you would be able to do those quests with apex 140 monsters" Might do stuff when DLC comes out, but overall this game has been fun up until g-rank special, then it became utterly frustrating. Not suffering through doing all the gathering hall quests with random people, and I've had enough running 140 GQs of 5 monsters and ignoring the 100 other ones. Done all the caravan quests except the one that's akin to putting a gun to your mouth in terms of how much you'll enjoy doing it. Though, for having Rodeo God, you should probably get at least two, not just one. He probably built up most of the mounting blows, and you just stole the last one. Crimson Fatalis has a high base mount resist. Just like other statuses, it will decay over time, and it can build resistance with successive mounts. Every time you land a mounting blow (yellow flash on hit), it builds up until your group passes the mounting threshold, where the monster topples. If I remember correctly, Mounting is just like other statuses. Then again, this is assuming they aren't shitty hunters, which is the only reason I'll tolerate them. I'm not one to prolong my search for a full squad for a quest just because someone didn't want to invest as much time into the game. ![]() If it doesn't affect the online hunting experience, what they do offline is up to them, they're just randoms that I probably won't see again. If they have legal sets and are excellent hunters, I'll mind less. I personally will kick all monster-behavior hackers, as well as equipment hackers who have stuff before their rank, or stupidly impossible talismans. Some people will kick any and all hackers, and if that's their mindset, then that's fine. It depends on your personal morals, honestly. They actually had to do the quest (maybe they leeched, maybe they didn't), unlike those other people using White Fatalis armor before they've gotten to G1. I actually don't look down on most Star Knight armor users because of that fact. From there, anyone who goes on the quest with you can get the armour. The Event Quest is already on cart and you can "download" it by rerouting where the game tries to get Event Quests from to the JP server. Sometimes it will just constantly roar and flail, making it impossible to actually topple.Ä¡bighiccup wrote: Since I can see it mentioned in the last few posts, a heads up on Star Knight - you do not have to hack to get it. When I mount it, it's up to the Fatalis whether or not I actually topple it. ![]() Although I also have tons of trouble toppling the C. :pÄespite having rodeo god, he still couldn't succesfully mount, which is quite sad. Perfect example of hacker's incompetency and more reasons to never play with them. The one time that I managed to mount him, I knocked him over easily. He did not knock Fatalis over successfully even once, despite mounting him several times. One of the randoms had a Star Knight set and Insect Glaive.
